Reboot

So, I made a blog a while ago.  Of course, if you are reading this then you are probably aware of this fact.  Anyway, the first post on this blog was made near the beginning of my sophomore year of high school, and now that I am nearly at the end, I have more time to write in this thing.  I have also renamed this blog "Armadillo Spork," which is a response to a name my sister used on a website once, which was "Turtle Spoon."  There is no profound meaning to either name as of now, but if anyone thinks of something deep that the names represent, I would be happy to hear it.
Anyway, I'm abandoning my original idea for my blog ( see the previous post if you are unaware of that idea), and have decided to try a more traditional approach of just writing about whatever the heck is going on in my somewhat-real life.  Interesting, right?  Well, I'll try my best......

To end my post, here is a list of a few things I currently like (Only a few of them right now.  I am going to try and include one of these at the end of each post):
  • Anastasia --  This movie is so gorgeously animated, with great music and a fun story.  Just because it is animated does not stop it from being a movie that teens and adults can love.
  • Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog -- I was recently introduced to this amazing piece of awesome at a friend's birthday party, and have rewatched it about five times since then.  Seriously, Neil Patrick Harris starring in something created by Joss Whedon.  Nothing can go wrong.  Speaking of those two...
  • Glee -- Okay, the most recent episodes have been a little weak (except the NPH guest-starring, Joss Whedon directed one) but it is still a great show worth watching and listening to.
  • Cowboy Bebop --  I just recently watched the movie, and rekindled my love for the show in general.  It is the most well-done anime I've watched.  Even if you think you don't like Japanese Animation, this one is very different from most shows in that category.  The music by Yoko Kanno is phenomenal, the animation is incredible, the characters are so well-developed, and the writing is so good, I am using a quote from the show for an interpretive scene for my final in Drama.  Watch.  This.  Show.
Well, there you go.  My first blog post in a while.  I hope I will be able to write more soon!

First Post

So, I have another blog. When I got that other blog, I got very excited, and had so many things I wanted to write about. However, I soon discovered that I did not have the capacity to write down all of them, and that the ones I did write tended to ramble and always tended to sound like a seventh grade essay, except with an interesting prompt. Thus, I have created a new blog, with each post being filled with many short(ish) thoughts and opinions.

Does anyone else find it funny that Legolas in the LotR movies is almost always clean? I mean, the rest of the Fellowship is practically swimming in dirt, and then there is Legolas, just glowing in cleanliness. Those elves and their incessant need to be pampered....

Dear Adam Lambert,
You were amazing on Idol. You were an amazing performer, incredibly attractive, and a wonderful singer. Then, Idol ends, and now your failing. Sure, you can sing, but your makeup has done something atrocious to your face, and your most recent performance was disgusting. It was the hint of raunchiness that made people love you, not that mess.

Kinzo Ushiromiya: Lord Goldsmith is not, nor will it ever be, a cool name. Ever. It just makes you sound like a senile old man. Oh wait, you are. Or were......are.......were......Ugh, whatever.

Team Jacob or Team Edward? Neither. I'm on Team Bella is a Whiny Mary Sue who can get Devoured by the Vampaneze.

Speaking of the Vampaneze, Josh Hutcherson makes an extremely attractive Steve Leonard. And not just that, The Vampire's Assistant was a really good movie. Not loyal to the books, but an awesome movie. Especially because of Josh Hutcherson.

Is there very much distinction anymore between Facebook Groups and Pages? Seriously, they both achieve the same purpose: giving bored Facebook users another button to click.

I have yet to truly distinguish the difference between "talking" and "dating."

Good babysitting tip: Help the children create their family and house on The Sims. They might be bored with the actual gameplay, but the creating part will keep them interested for a while.

I find it extremely irritating that people expect me to respond to their texts immediately. I mean, even if you are constantly holding and checking your phone doesn't mean the rest of the world is. Some people don't always wear outfits with pockets, and don't always feel like carrying their phone with them wherever they go, especially not in their own house. So if I don't answer your text, I don't hate you. Probably.

Michael Jackson died?!!!! Oh my gosh, when did this happen?!

If you thought that I was being serious with that last one, then you probably regularly comment on Youtube.

Jon and/or Kate plus 8 and that other kid that no one talks about.

Just so you know, I am not an emo geek that has no life and decides to rant about it. I am a perky geek who is sometimes sarcastic and wants to spread that sarcastic perky geekiness around the Internet. I shall write more in the future. Goodnight.
